At Home Alternatives, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. To be competitive we have adopted return and exchange policies similar to other retailers. 

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Home Alternatives makes every effort to ensure your order arrives in as-advertised condition. We inspect every item prior to Pickup and Delivery. Please note that handcrafted merchandise will have differences in color, form and finish. That is expected and adds to the individuality of each piece. We inspect every item before delivery - if your order is delivered damaged, defective, incorrect or incomplete, please notify us within 72 hours after delivery and we will work with you to fix the problem.

RETURNS + EXCHANGES

Only certain products may be refunded or returned. Some stocked items from our showroom in Rutland, Vermont, can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Items must be in new condition and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund. Original delivery fees are not refundable. All returns are subject to pick up fees.

REFUND POLICY

Return credits are issued once the item is received and inspected. We apply returns to the tender it was purchased with. Please allow 7–10 business days for a refund to be credited back to your card.
